Oracle Asset: Providing a Platform for Greater Stewardship of Our Assets

The Harvard Assets Project kicked-off in 2013 with the goal of transforming current business processes and implementing the Oracle Assets module of the E-Business Suite (EBS).  This will better position the financial community to address the increasingly complex needs of a dynamic and asset intensive University.

The identified benefits of this project include:

  • Integrating with other modules of Oracle E-Business Suite including Accounts Payable, HCOM, and General Ledger

Electronic Submission Tracking and Reporting (ESTR) Updates

February 27, 2014

The Electronic Submission Tracking and Reporting (ESTR) system for IRBs has been updated as of Friday, February 28, 2014.

The release includes navigation and informational text enhancements. Highlights include:

  • The single button labeled “Create Modification/CR”, available in active study workspaces has been expanded to three buttons with clearer labels: “Create Modification”, “Create Continuing Review”, and “Create Closure”.

Oracle February Release Update

  • HCOM Receiving Details Report: The report was not generating all appropriate data.  This has now been fixed.
  • The number of invoice images allowed to be shown with the HCOM Scanned Invoices link has been increased.
