GMAS 2.0 April Release Updates

GMAS 2.0 Project had a release on Monday, April 11, 2016. A summary of the changes are listed below. Visit our full release notes for more details. 

The April release focused on delivering necessary system upgrades to support System to System functionality. GMAS released 5 new forms in support of the NIH FORMS-D transition:

  • PHS 398 Research Plan
  • PHS 398 Cover Page Supplement
  • PHS 398 Career Development Award Supplemental Form
  • PHS Inclusion Enrollment Report
  • PHS Assignment Request Form

The release also delivered 5 converted screens. All new screens, listed below, will have the updated look and feel as well as the optimized backend technology. 

  • Request List
  • View IACUC Approval screens
  • Edit IACUC Approval screens
  • View Admin Team screens
  • Edit Admin Team screens

In response to user feedback, enhancements have been introduced such as:

  • The "Obligated" column in the dates and dollars section has been changed to "Authorized", showing obligated plus carryforward
  • Research team confirmation status is now listed on the Research Team page
  • Segment home “more details”/”less details” can now be set as a user preference
  • Locked segment revisions now show the user who owns the lock in the tooltip
  • Project id now shows in the top part of the segment home project snapshot for pending projects
  • Improved performance of the Request homepage
