Modernization of Financial Reporting Project: User Outreach for Detail Listing Underway and Grants Management Update

DETAIL LISTING OUTREACH
The Modernization of Financial Reporting Project is currently designing the future-state Detail Listing in Oracle Business Intelligence in partnership with our business owners on the Finance Working Group and Detail Listing Subcommittee. As part of this effort we have contracted with a third-party to conduct user interviews on the current-state Detail Listing usage and will be distributing a survey to all Detail Listing users to solicit feedback. Users can expect to receive the survey sometime in late-May. Please take the time to provide us your input on this heavily used financial report. 

There is no current decommission timeline for the CREW Detail Listing report and users may rest assured that it will be available throughout calendar year-end 2016.

GRANTS MANAGEMENT DASHBOARD UPDATE
The project team recently released the Grants Financial Dashboard (PER Replacement) to a pilot audience of 100 users last month. We plan to make the dashboard available to the wider user community later this month. The Office of Sponsored Programs, Financial Systems Solutions and the University-wide Research Training Team (URATT) are partnering with grants subject matter experts at each of the schools to deliver OBI Grants Management Dashboard training in the late spring/early summer months. If you use CREW Grants Management content, be on the lookout for local training in this area. The training schedule will be published in future eNews issues. 

CREW Grants Management reports are scheduled to be decommissioned on November 1, 2016, so it’s important users begin transitioning to OBI as soon as possible.
