Monthly HART Release
The next monthly HART release is tentatively planned for Friday, November 5th, 6:30 pm to Saturday, November 6th, 8 am.

HART Upgrade to Oracle Analytics Server Version 5.9
A reminder that the Oracle Analytics Server, the backbone of the Harvard Analytics and Reporting Tool, will be tentatively upgraded to version 5.9 during the weekend of October 30-31, 2021.
The upgraded version will be available to all users on Monday, November 1, 2021.
Key Information
Based on initial testing, there will be no impact to the current HART Dashboards:
- No new or changes to existing functionality to working with dashboards: Based on our team’s testing, there are no new functionality or changes to existing functionality currently in use on HART dashboards. The upgrade did make changes to some of the self-service products, most notably Data Visualization.
- No impact to customizations or bookmarks: The upgrade is an “in place” upgrade, meaning that neither dashboards nor current customizations need to be migrated to a new environment. Thus, users will not need to stop creating customizations/bookmarks prior to the upgrade.
- No impact to new/existing user requests: Client Services will be able to process requests for new/existing users up to the Friday evening prior to the upgrade, and resume processing requests immediately after the upgrade is complete.
- No change in URL: The HART URL will remain the same
More information about the upgrade will be communicated to users as the upgrade deadline approaches.
HART Online Tools Course Now Available!
The ARAP Team is pleased to announce that the HART Online Tools Course is now available for users at the Harvard Training Portal! The online tools training course provides new and existing users with all of the information needed to effectively access and run the enterprise financial, grants management and procurement dashboard in HART!
Access this online course to learn how to:
- Log into HART
- Access a dashboard
- Use the Transaction Listing Dashboards
- Sort, filter and format dashboard displays
- Add subtotals and grand totals
- Customize dashboards
- Save and share bookmarks
- Export and print dashboards
