my.harvard Cross Registration

We are excited to announce the successful implementation of the new Cross Registration functionality in my.harvard. As part of our continued commitment to enhancing Harvard’s enrollment experience, all Harvard students are now able to cross register for all Harvard courses* directly within my.harvard. Students add their desired course(s) to their Crimson Cart and validate the course(s) to see if they need permission. A Tax PSA (Policy Service Announcement)

Reminder – to avoid delays when hiring a foreign national in PeopleSoft, be sure to include an email address in the Secondary drop down field. An email address is required in order for the individual to receive a GLACIER email.

GLACIER is Harvard’s online tax compliance program and is used to determine the individual’s tax withholding rate. Failure to complete GLACIER will result in the individual being taxed at the highest rates.

HUBS Outage in September

August 17, 2017

The HUBS Exalytics server will be physically moving in September and HUBS will be unavailable during that time. The outage will begin at 5pm on Friday, September 15, and it will last all through the weekend; HUBS will become available again at the start of business on Monday, September 18. Should HUBS become available earlier than planned an email will be sent to all users.

GMAS Outage in September

August 17, 2017

GMAS has a upcoming planned outage scheduled for a new release.  The outage will begin at the end of business on September 22nd beginning at approximately 7pm through end of day September 24th. The release will include the following enhancements:

Cloud migration for GMAS servers
This will be a seamless transition with no impact to users.
