Two-step Verification Required for VPN and HarvardKey

Harvard will soon require the use of two-step verification to access many University resources and applications, including VPN. Don't wait until the deadline, activate two-step verification now: huit.harvard.edu/twostep.

If you use HUIT VPN services, please take the following actions before September 28:

Modernization of Financial Reporting (MFR) Project Update

Fall Pilot for Financials Dashboards 

All hands are on deck as the MFR Project Team and local Engagement Councils prepare for the kick-off of the Financials Dashboard Pilot in November.  Over the next 6-8 months we will gradually be building our pilot audience.  The current timeline is as follows:

  • November 2016 – Pilot with select tub financial officers
  • February 2017 – Pilot with select departmental administrators

Harvard Training Portal – Promotional Video Launched!

Upcoming October System Outages for Oracle Financials Systems - FINDINI 4.0.10 Release

This October 2016 FINDINI 4.0.10 release will be available to users on Monday October 24, 2016.

This release will focus on getting the EBS environment 12.1.3 ready for Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2016, and upgrading our Golden Gate Replication software to version 12.2.0.1. This release will also include Oracle's July Compliance Security updates for the standard software and database patching needed to keep the EBS, CPATH, & OBI Replication systems up to date with many industry security regulations and requirements. PeopleSoft Release 45: Outage Information

September 15, 2016

Due to HR Release 45.0, PeopleSoft and ASPIRE transmissions to PeopleSoft will be unavailable starting on Friday, September 16th at 5:00pm until Monday, September 19th at 8:00am.

 Also, since there is no PeopleTools upgrade with this release, there is no need for users to clear their internet cache.
