Please review the following updates from the CAPS office regarding the FY22 Capital Spending Plan (CSP):
- School/Unit FY22 one-year CSPs are due by Wednesday, April 28th. The Committees will review, and the Corporation will authorize, next steps for projects included in the FY22 CSP submissions in mid-July. Please refer to the FY22 Capital Planning Guidelines for more information on these submissions.
- Many Schools and Units have indicated that internal CSP preparation schedules will remain the same as past years (i.e., February timeframe). To assist with this, CPATH will allow for FY22 CSP submissions beginning February 8th and all related CPATH reports will then be available. Early CSP submissions can be revised through April 28th.
- Like prior years, capital spending plan narrative questions will be combined with the operating budget narrative. These will be due May 12th. CAPS will obtain School/Unit responses to the capital plan questions from the narrative submissions provided to the Office of Financial Strategy and Planning.
