HART Upgrade to Version 12c

Data Management Services (DMS) continues to make progress on the HART upgrade from version 11g to version 12c.  This change moves HART to AWS Cloud, which provides better security, availability, monitoring, and the ability to easily scale. DMS is re-architecting HART to provide better stability for the system.  Version 12c also allows us to be on better supported software, with minimal impact to users.

Coming in April, HART users will see a new and improved HART wiki site as part of the upgrade.  Over the course of March, DMS will be working furiously to provide a site that is more streamlined so that the information will be even easier to find.  Keep your eyes peeled for more information as we get closer to the implementation.

Quick Tip: How to Find Credit Voucher Descriptions on the Transaction Listing

The comments entered by Cash Receipts do not appear in the default columns of the 8 Transaction Listing Dashboards.  To see the description that was submitted on the credit voucher, you need to add in a column that is available via the right-click menu, entitled AR-Oracle Receivables-Cash Distribution Comment

Here’s how:

  1. Right click on any of the column headers.
  2. Select Include Column from the dropdown menu.
  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the columns and select AR-Oracle Receivables-Cash Distribution Comment.  The column will then appear in the dashboard.
  4. To make sure you can always view this column, save your changes as a Customization.
