HART Tip: Copy and Paste Cells in HART

One of the nicest features in HART is the ability to copy and paste cells from results into a prompt, another dashboard, or into another application outside of HART, such as Microsoft Excel or Word.

You can copy a single cell or an entire column or data by highlighting the cell or column and selecting the Ctrl + c keys to copy.

You will then open the application that where you wish to paste the information and use the Ctrl + v keys to paste the information into that application.

While it is possible to copy a row of data from HART, the process is more complicated and you will lose important formatting such as leading zeroes.  Therefore, it’s best to export that data to Excel first, then copy the data using that application.
