Modernization of Financial Reporting Project Announces Enhancements to Existing Content, Upcoming Grants Rollout and the Disabling of CREW Subledger Content

The Modernization of Financial Reporting Project recently deployed a number of user facing enhancements to existing dashboards:

The project team has also created several simple, short videos on common questions users have as well as some dashboard specific videos. They can be found on the on the OBI Simulations Wiki page.  OBI Grants Management Content Development Underway

The primary focus of the team over the summer has been preparing for our deployment of OBI Grants content in the late fall.  The project team has been working closely with our business partners in OSP, members of the Grants Working Group (GWG) and several other departmental representatives to define the business requirements.  A complete listing of the Grants Management scope may be found here.  The team is currently working with the GWG and school representative to test the dashboards.  For timing of roll-out at your school, contact your Engagement Council.

 Disabling of CREW Subledger Content

For the subledgers (Accounts Receivable, Cash Management and Accounts Payable) we have been parallel in both CREW and OBI for 5 months.  Our engagement councils have requested that with year-end activities we not disable the CREW content until the Fall.  The project team is planning for a November 1st decommissioning of all subledger content.  At that time, FSS Client Services and the Harvard Data Warehouse (HDW) will disable the following CREW Reports and OBI will be the sole source for this information:
