Modernization of Financial Reporting Project Announces the Go-Live of Accounts Receivable Content and Enhancements to Existing Content

May 14, 2015

The Modernization of Financial Reporting Project recently deployed Accounts Receivable dashboards to Production.  Included in the release were the Account Status Summary, Billing Detail and AR Aging Balances dashboards.

OBI Dashboard Table

The project team is currently testing the Bad Debt Write-off and Recovery dashboard and users can expect these to be released later in the month.

The timing of the Accounts Receivable roll-out to users will be determined by each school-based engagement council.  Your local implementation manager can provide you with information on when you can expect content to be made available to your school.

In order to receive access to the OBI content users must successfully complete a 45 minute tools training course.  We are pleased to announce that an on-line OBI Tools Training option is now available to the user community.  Users that prefer an instructor-led training session may register in PeopleSoft for course FSS170.

 Enhancements to Existing Content

The project team recently deployed a number of user facing enhancements to the platform and existing dashboards:

  • Environment patching – while much of this is necessary to be in compliance with Oracle support the biggest impact to the user community is that users may now use Internet Explorer for OBI and can choose the Export to Excel 2007+ option
  • Vendor Invoice Detail Dashboard – removed invoice date range prompt as this was conflicting with GL Date
  • Cache agents added to Escheat Due Diligence and Vendor Invoice Detail.  The user community should experience improved performance on these dashboards.
