my.harvard Cross Registration

We are excited to announce the successful implementation of the new Cross Registration functionality in my.harvard. As part of our continued commitment to enhancing Harvard’s enrollment experience, all Harvard students are now able to cross register for all Harvard courses* directly within my.harvard. Students add their desired course(s) to their Crimson Cart and validate the course(s) to see if they need permission. For schools who use my.harvard as their primary student information system, students have a unified enrollment experience. Some schools have further streamlined the cross registration process eliminating some approval steps over even eliminating the need to submit a petition altogether by using delivered functionality already available within my.harvard. For courses requiring petition approval, once the petition has been approved the student will then be able to directly enroll in course. Cross registration opened for some schools on August 10 and since then nearly 1500 petitions have been submitted. Over half of those have been approved or denied by faculty or cancelled by the student. For questions please email ithelp@harvard.edu

* To enroll in a course offered at MIT students continue to use the cross-registration portal (https://courses.harvard.edu/crossregistration.html).

my.harvard Maintenance

On the weekend of August 19-20th, my.harvard will undergo mandatory system maintenance. The maintenance window is determined by the vendor who hosts our servers. Each maintenance period is quoted for 7 pm Saturday - 7 pm Sunday, though most times the system is available much sooner.
