PeopleSoft Annual Reminders – Term Appointment Processing, Annual Salary Increase Process, and the Costing Copy

PeopleSoft Term Appointment Processing

In order to process the high volume of employee records with expected end-dates of May 31, June 30, and July 1, the following adjustments will be made to the auto-term processing schedule:

  • May 31 end-dates will be processed on Tuesday, May 31 (Day after Memorial Day) at 6 PM.  Needed reappointments must be processed before Tuesday, May 31.
  • June 30 end-dates will be processed during the day on Sunday, June 26. Needed reappointments must be processed before Sunday, June 26.
  • July 1 end-dates will be processed on Friday, July 1 at 6 PM.  Needed reappointments must be processed before Friday, July 1.

Reminder about the Annual Salary Increase Process & Costing Copy

We are coming up on the annual salary increase for Administrative Professionals, effective, July 1, 2022. The ASIP upload deadline is Thursday, June 23 at 5:00 PM and the process is the same as previous years.  The updated work instructions and salary increase template are available in the Harvard Training Portal:

The Costing Copy is the annual process that copies current and future department, position and appointment level costing data and adds it to the new fiscal year.  This year’s process will be running on the morning of Monday, June 27, 2022, inserting new FY23 costing in PeopleSoft.

  •  As a reminder, costing changes effective 7/1/2022 or later can now be made at any time, via any data entry method.  You do not have to wait for the costing copy to run.
  • Once the costing copy has been run on 6/27/2022, any other costing change made prior to 7/1/2022 must be entered for both FY22 and FY23 through the Manage Costing tile.
