Effective August 13, 2018 - Upon entering individuals into PeopleSoft, the following data will now be sent to GLACIER and will pre-populate on any new GLACIER records created:
- U.S. Home Address
- Foreign Address (if available)

Relationship with Harvard:
- “Employee/ Faculty/ Staff” will be pre-selected, based upon the foreign individual’s employee Pay Group (e.g. POU, PON, PFX, MIP, WTM, MFC, MTF, SPC, WRT, and WPT) or
- “Stipend/ Scholarship/ Fellowship/ Grant Recipient” will be pre-selected, based upon the foreign individual’s fellowship or scholarship Pay Group (MEP and MST)

Income Type:
- “Compensation/ Salary/ Wages”, will be pre-selected, based upon the foreign individual’s employee Pay Group (e.g. POU, PON, PFX, MIP, WTM, MFC, MTF, SPC, WRT, and WPT)

“Scholarship or Fellowship Income (Non-Service)” will be pre-selected, based upon the foreign individual’s fellowship or scholarship Pay Group (MEP and MST)
This enhancement will assist foreign individuals to better understand their defined relationship and income classifications as they complete the GLACIER process. Any changes to a foreign individual’s relationship to Harvard, income type classifications, or addresses after hiring will have to be updated by the individual directly in GLACIER https://nratax.oc.finance.harvard.edu/Glacier.
