GMAS
GMAS will be unavailable beginning at 6PM on Friday, July 30th . This outage is to support the GMAS August 2021 release scheduled to be available by the start of business on Monday August 2nd. This release includes a few enhancements, bug fixes, and screen conversions.
Highlights of the changes in this release include:
- Conversion of multiple approval screens.
- Retirement of the Biohazard approval.
- An update to the date picker to follow the “DD/MM/YYYY” format.
- Fixed a bug where the status message was displaying incorrectly on international and cost sharing requests.

ESTR-IRB, Agreements, Safety
The ESTR-IRB, Agreements-DUA, and Data Safety support team is working on the next system update, scheduled to occur in the fall. This update will include a major upgrade with application improvements.

The support team will hold a July informational session on Wednesday July 21, at 11am ET. This session focuses on the use of ESTR-IRB, Agreements-DUA, and Data Safety in the suite. OAIR
The OAIR support team is working on the next system update, scheduled to occur in the fall. This update will include minor application improvements. Please visit the OAIR support site for more information about recent and upcoming releases, and for helpful application guidance. The support team holds regular informational sessions, covering general system information and demonstration, with time for discussion. The next ecrt Basics training sessions will be offered August 12th at 11AM on the Harvard Training Portal.
All Request for Proxy of Authority for Annual Effort Certifications forms must be submitted to OSP by Friday September 10th. Tub deadlines may be earlier.
PI Dashboard
Team continues preparing for the annual fiscal year and balance forward rollover process. Target rollover date is Monday evening, August 9, 2021.
Team completed several database and application server software upgrades.
