Important dates for the FY20 Q4 project statements and FY20 Annual statements:
- Review period: September 1, 2020 to September 21, 2020
- Certification Period: September 22, 2020 to October 21, 2020
FY20 Q4 Project Certifications and FY20 Effort Certification Due: October 21, 2020
All Request for Proxy of Authority for Annual Effort Certifications forms must be submitted to OSP by Friday September 4th. Tub deadlines may be earlier.
Year-end reminder: Please have any employee changes for FY21 in PeopleSoft by EOB July 1st. In any case, ecrt will use the data that is present on July 1st in PeopleSoft to determine quarterly vs. annual employee type status for FY21. This status will be locked in for FY21 and cannot be changed until FY22.

Data Safety
Starting May 15th 2020, the University will be implementing a partial rollout of the updated Research Data Security Policy Guidance!
For more information on the new requirements, see the Pilot of Updated Research Data Security Policy Guidance. The entirety of the updated HRDSP will go live July 15, 2020.

On May 29, Data Safety was updated. This update incorporates significant suite-wide improvements and enhancements.

On May 29, ESTR was updated. This update incorporates significant suite-wide improvements and enhancements.
Highlights of the release include:
- Integration with Office365 for easier viewing and editing of submission-related documents in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
- Modernized SmartForm design with updated navigation and reviewer options; and
- Updates to support new Data Safety requirements related to IRB submissions.

GMAS
The next GMAS release will be available on Monday, July 13, 2020. This release will feature a new checklist to track international activity and collaboration for proposals and awards. For more information, please check the GMAS releases page of the GMAS website, and watch for links from the news section of the GMAS application.

- Team completed several database and application server software upgrades.
