ARAP Program Workstreams Update

As reported in last month’s eNews, several program workstreams have been identified to facilitate the expanded ARAP scope.  Here is a high-level update as to where we are with each Workstream Category:

  • Proposal being reviewed to establish program Office Hours, Sprint Demonstration Days and establishing a program communication chat channel

  • Finance: The first Financial Reporting and Analysis Working group meeting held 10/14; On track to deliver enhancements to HART Production; Design/Proof of Concept underway for Salary and Wages Flux Analysis Dashboard; Ongoing development for: CPATH replacement for data export/import through the Data Warehouse; Developing PCard subject area to support future dashboards and DV analysis and Check Register solution.
  • Research Administration & Compliance: Continuing to collect Brio queries for analysis. Also starting to gather information on Tableau dashboards to convert; Research Administration Systems Executive Committee (RASEC) meeting on 10/7/2020 to recommend robust governance structure; Finalized presentation of data modeling strategy and designed 4 Proof Of Concept Models
  • FAS Adoption: Revising the work plan for both the FAS Finance group and the College DW group; Agreed to begin early report conversion/development in the OAS-Conv environment
  • Harvard Library Adoption: Creating and testing calculated fields for inclusion in operational dashboards; Ongoing analysis of queries and comparison of system performance and results to output from Cognos; Creating Data Dictionary
  • OAS Enhancements: Accessibility testing continues
