Fiscal Year-End 2021 HART Dashboard Tips

The ATS Reporting and Analytics Team has received some reports of users having problems with running two financial dashboards: the Fund Management and GL Account Monitoring.  Here is a summary of the issues being reported and how users can resolve those issues to receive their expected results:

Dashboard: GL Account Monitoring Dashboard

Problem: When opening the GL Accounting Monitoring Dashboard, the user sees only the JUN-21 value in the Period Prompt and no others.  If the user types in another Period value or re-selects the JUN-21 from the Search box, the user will receive no results when running the dashboard.

Solution:

  1. Make sure you have applied your User Role Choice role by selecting it from the drop-down and clicking the first Apply button.
  2. Click on the drop-down on the Period Prompt and select More/Search.
  3. Even though you will see JUN-21 in the search box—ignore it. Type JUN in the search field and you will see all of the years come up in the Search box.
  4. Now select JUN-21 from that list and move it to the right-hand side of the box
  5. Click OK to close it
  6. Enter the rest of the prompts and click Apply. You will then be able to run the dashboard with no issue.

Dashboard: Fund Management Dashboard

Problem: Users are unable to run the Fund Management Dashboard under the following circumstance:

  • Within the last year, (i.e., prior to June 2021), the user received a bookmark link from someone else and saved it as their own customization
  • The user cannot run the dashboard

Solution: Delete the customization.  The dashboard will then run as expected. Please note that this is only happening under the specific circumstance described above: the user received a bookmark link and then saved it as their customization.  Regular customizations saved on the dashboard are not affected.
