EBS 12.2 Upgrade:

Impact to HART

The Oracle E-Business Suite will be upgraded from April 17-24, 2023.  While HART will be available during throughout the upgrade, there will be impacts to HART data affecting the financial and research administration communities:

  • The last data load will happen on Monday evening, April 17, 2023
  • Beginning Tuesday, April 18-Sunday, April 24, 2023, all HART financial and grants management dashboards will contain data as of April 17, 2023.
  • The HART Team recommends that financial and grant management users not run dashboards over the weekend of April 22-23, 2023: the financial data warehouse will be updating the data from the week of April 17, 2023. While HART will be available, financial and grants management users may see error messages and inconsistent data on dashboards until this process is complete.
  • All HART financial and grants management data should be up to date on Monday, April 24, 2023.

Impact to HART Financial and Grants Management Self-Service Users

  • Beginning Tuesday, April 18-Friday, April 21, 2023, any financial and grants management data pulled by the OAS Self-Service tools (Analysis, Data Visualization and BI Publisher) will contain data as of April 17, 2023.
  • The HART Team recommends that financial and grant management users not use self-service over the weekend of April 22-23, 2023: Database user accounts will be locked. Any self-service user who attempts to connect directly to the financial data warehouse using their own credentials will be locked out of the system until Monday, April 24, 2023. If you are using a HART subject area such as SS-Basic Finance, you will be able to access the data, but you may see error messages and inconsistent data until the data warehouse update is complete.
  • All HART financial and grants management data should be up to date on Monday, April 24, 2023.
