Go-Live Weekend: Student Information System Program Releasing New Student Account System

The Student Information System Program is well on its way to implementing the student financials component of the new my.harvard student information system. As of Wednesday, March 18, the cutover process began. We anticipate the new student account system will go live on March 23, 2015.

FY15 Year-End CAPS Forms Submittal Deadline

March 19, 2015

To ensure that all necessary approvals are in place and all accounting entries are completed in time, appropriate CAPS Forms must be submitted to Central Administration by your School/Unit's Authorized Requestor through the CAPS Automated System by the dates set forth below.

    • Friday, May 8th - Completed Project Proposals (PPs) and Construction Authorizations (CAs) submitted by this date will be processed, and CIP activities enabled where applicable, for FY15.

Minor Changes to the PeopleSoft Salary Increase Process

As part of the PeopleSoft release 40.5, the Salary Increase Process (SIP) has the following minor modifications:

  • The Salary Increase Extract parameters page has two additional optional fields:
    • Location  -  populating this restricts the extract to employees from a specific job location (e.g., "124 Mount Auburn").
    • Department Type - is a classification configured on the department table and is currently only used by HMS.

HUBS Release 3.3
