HarvardKey is here! Following the HUIT Identity & Access Management program’s successful release Nov. 12, users in FAS, Central Admin, Graduate School of Education, Graduate School of Design, the Divinity School, the T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and the John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences are now able to claim a HarvardKey account to gain access to the University applications and services they use every day.

GMAS November Updates

The next GMAS 2.0 Project release will occur on December 14, 2015, delivering a redesigned Segment home and more converted screens.  Segment home is one of the most frequently visited GMAS screens that users leverage to access projects.  The Segment Home still allows users to retrieve segment data, segment financial information, navigate between segments and navigate to key areas.  The re-design brings additional information front and center including highlighting dates and dollars, segment actions, and links to existing GMAS screens.   The re-...

November Updates & December Outages for Oracle Financial Applications

IE 11 Settings for Oracle Financial Applications

Starting the week of November 16th, Microsoft browsers older than Internet Explorer 11 will be upgraded to Internet Explorer 11 on all Windows computers requiring it. HUIT ESM will deploy this upgrade via the LANDesk process and will also make the installer available in the Self-Service Portal. PeopleSoft Release 43 (Dec 3-6): Unavailability Dates

November 19, 2015

Due to HR Release 43.0, PeopleSoft and ASPIRE transmissions to PeopleSoft will be unavailable starting on Friday, December 4th at 5:00pm until Monday, December 6th at 8:00am.

As this release does not include a People Tools upgrade, there is no need for users to clear internet caches.

Sponsored Administration Policy Updates to Take Effect Starting January 1, 2016

On January 1, 2016, Harvard will put into effect several policy updates pertaining to the work of the Operations and Policy Committee, Office for Sponsored Programs (OSP), and Office of the Controller (OC).

Specifically, updated versions of the following policies will be released:

  • Travel Policy
  • Sponsored Closeout and Financial Reporting Policy
  • Responsibility of Preparers and Approvers Policy
  • Sponsored Expenditure Guidelines Policy
