The Electronic Submission Tracking and Reporting (ESTR) system for IRBs has been updated as of Friday, February 28, 2014.
The release includes navigation and informational text enhancements. Highlights include:
- The single button labeled “Create Modification/CR”, available in active study workspaces has been expanded to three buttons with clearer labels: “Create Modification”, “Create Continuing Review”, and “Create Closure”.
- Help links have been updated to go to the current support site, rather than vendor-generated help.
- SmartForms have been revised to include updated links to information, along with some new and revised attachment options.
- Submission workspaces have been updated to provide more information about document versions, the IRB contact for each follow-on submission, and meeting assignment (for projects that require committee review).
- Added features to help support a more efficient efficient review process for the IRB.
