Field Formats Now Maintained when Exporting to Excel

There is a new user interface for both My Workforce and University Workforce. You are now
able to access pre-built, delivered reports right from the application home page! No need to remember where these reports reside under the Menu. However, they are still available under the Menu for easy access within the reporting environment.

You asked….we listened! An equivalent Departmental Job Profile (HRJOBDP007) has been prebuilt and is available in My Workforce and University Workforce for Current and Point-in-Time! Simply click the “Job Profile” tab on the main page and the report will open in the reporting window.

Bookmark Friendly Date Flags!
Exciting news….you now have the ability to select bookmark friendly date flags for self-service within My Workforce and University Workforce! What does this mean? If you pick Last 60 Days, for example, the dates keep ‘moving’ with the current date when you open your bookmarked report.

New Action Self Service Field
Action and Reason Codes (concatenated) is now available under the “Action” dimensions in self-service for both My and University Workforce.

New Metrics added to My Workforce: The following new metrics have been added to “Select Metrics” in Self Service for Current and PIT: Headcount %, Job Count %, FTE %, Compa Ratio Median, Annual Sal Median, FTE Sal Median, Compa Ratio Avg, Annual Sal Avg, FTE Sal Avg, Grade Median (Grade Median is for grades 47-64)

A new category of reporting (Diversity) has been added to University Workforce. It displays an overview of the Affirmative Action workforce at the University. Use this to answer questions regarding AA workforce progress toward placement goals, AA workforce counts for management and leaders, and mobility and termination rates by minority and gender.

The calculation for the Intra Major Affiliation Hire Rate has changed. The new calculation is:
Internal Hires within the major affiliation ÷ Count of all hires

Open and Closed Requisitions

The Open and Closed Requisitions Applications received a face lift to reflect visual consistency across the applications

Appointment end date, tracking code, and incumbent name were added to self-service
|
Affirmative Action

The Affirmative Action Application also received a face lift and now reflects application toolbar standards as well as overall visual consistency with other apps.

A new Report Generation Job Aid can be found on the Harvard Training Portal. It is a replacement for the Mapper.
Did You Know… about Select Excluded functionality? The Select Excluded function creates a NOT statement as shown in the image. First select the criteria you would like to exclude. Then click on the Select Excluded icon in the list box ribbon. All other possible values will be selected (highlighted green) in the list box and the Current Selections Window will reflect this functionality with a NOT before the excluded value/s.
