GMAS
The next GMAS release will be available on Monday, October 2nd. This release includes the following:
New Secondary Segment Status "Expired"
- Requested by: OSP, reporting community, RACR team.
- Purpose: consistently define "Active" segments for University reporting.
- Initial implementation: Segment homepage, RACR generated reports.
- Future inclusion: Update screens that display segment status, update search, and include new status in the Harvard Data Warehouse.
Conversion of Receipts and Receivables
- Requested by: Research Finance, GMAS team
- Purpose: Streamline GMAS interface, create bulk receipts
- Benefits: 20 screens reduced to 5, 10 hours of manual receipt creation weekly significantly reduced
Financial Deliverable Assignment Admin Module for Research Finance
- Requested by: GMAS team
- Purpose: Independent assignment rules to be set by Research Finance
- Benefit: Reduced GMAS team involvement
Sub Invoice Tracking Download
- Requested by: Department Administrators from subagreements project
- Purpose: Spreadsheet download for subagreement invoice tracking Bug Fixes/Smaller Enhancements
Date and project sorting on dashboards fixed
- External organization URL domain editing issue resolved
- Update OAIR delete job to include withdrawn members
- Searching for a person using name and organization issue resolved
- Created a HMS subs dashboard API
- GMAS functional team can now schedule outages
- New banner on GMAS screens to warn of impending system outage

ESTR-IRB, Agreements-DUA, Data Safety, and OAIR
OAIR, ESTR-IRB, Agreements-DUA, and Data Safety were recently updated. View detailed release notes for additional information. Some highlights:
- ESTR-IRB includes new questions when requesting reliance.
- Agreements-DUA includes additional instruction and tracking support.
- Data Safety includes additional tracking support for reviewers.
- OAIR includes enhanced navigation for reviewers.
The support team offers 30-minute informational sessions, covering general system information, key changes associated with the upgrade, and answers to your questions.

Research Administration Portal
The Research Administration Portal shows faculty and researchers their outstanding research administration and compliance activities and provides an overview of their portfolio. The application includes certain projects and protocols from AGREEMENTS-DUA, DATA SAFETY, ESTR, GMAS, ECRT statements, and OAIR certifications, as well as assigned training courses from the HARVARD TRAINING PORTAL. Newer features in the Portal include:
- The ability for grant managers to view their researchers' To Do list and portfolio
- Additional GMAS To Dos for grant managers, central administrators, and researchers.
