GMAS
GMAS is scheduled to have a minor release in December (the specific date will be communicated through the GMAS news section once finalized). This release aims to enhance the alignment of external organization data across all research activities conducted at the University.
Furthermore, a major release is planned for later in the Winter season. This release will encompass updates related to request signatures and the ongoing conversion of requests categorized as "Changes to existing segment" to the new GMAS interface.
We encourage you to explore our most recent GMAS Tip/Trick, which provides valuable insights into Locating Invoices and Receivable. Additionally, the GMAS Business Steering Committee will regularly share informative tips and tricks in the coming months.

ESTR-IRB, Agreements-DUA, Data Safety, and OAIR
OAIR, ESTR-IRB, Agreements-DUA, and Data Safety will be unavailable from Friday, December 8th at 7:00 pm ET until Saturday, December 9 at 2:00 am ET to complete minor update activities.

Some highlights:
- ESTR-IRB, Agreements-DUA, and Data Safety Improvements have been made to enhance workspace warnings and alerts and provide more context on related projects.
- Data Safety Additional tracking measures will be implemented to support ancillary reviews and ensure PI attestation for using regulated data.
- OAIR will include updates to workspace warnings and alerts.

Research Administration Portal
What is the Research Administration Portal?
The Research Administration Portal shows faculty and researchers their research administration and compliance activities and provides an overview of their portfolio.
The application includes certain projects, protocols, and related tasks from HMS-IACUC, COMS, Agreements-DUA, Data Safety, ESTR, GMAS, statements from ecrt, certifications from OAIR, and assigned courses from the Harvard Training Portal.
Grant managers also have the ability to access To Do items assigned to them, as well as To Do items and projects and protocols for the researchers they support.
