ESTR-IRB, Agreements-DUA, Data Safety, and OAIR
OAIR, ESTR-IRB, Agreements-DUA, and Data Safety will be unavailable from Friday, December 8 at 7:00 PM ET until Saturday, December 9 at 2:00 AM ET to complete minor update activities.

Some highlights:
- ESTR-IRB, Agreements-DUA, and Data Safety: Improvements have been made to enhance workspace warnings and alerts and provide more context on related projects.
- Data Safety: Additional tracking measures will be implemented to support ancillary reviews and ensure PI attestation for using regulated data.
- OAIR: It will include updates to workspace warnings and alerts.
The support team offers 30-minute informational sessions covering general system information, key changes associated with the upgrade, and answers to your questions. Visit the System Support Office Hours Booking page to register.
GMAS
GMAS will be unavailable starting at 6:00 PM ET on Friday, December 15th for a release. The system will be available again at the start of business on Monday, December 18th.
This release aims to enhance the alignment of external organization data across all research activities conducted at the University.
Enhancements to facilitate this alignment include:

Three new fields that are entered upon organization activation:
- For profit indicator
- Publicly traded indicator
- Organization country
- Creation of an API for consumption across the other Research Administration and Compliance Systems suite.
- Updated rules for deleting organizations in GMAS to restrict based on status.
- Removed the ability to transition an organization back to a "New" status.
- Fixed a bug related to organization type not saving properly when "US Other - Federal".
This release also included some minor bug fixes and enhancements unrelated to organizations which include:
- Enhancements to improve the performance of GMAS request homepages.
- Addressed a bug that was causing Income from some accounts to be excluded from the income screen.
- Reordered the total amount due, total applied, and total balance on the new Receivables screen.
- Updated the subagreement invoice details download file name to provide additional details including date of download.

Research Administration Portal
The Research Administration Portal will be unavailable on December 16 between 6:00 PM ET and 9:00 PM ET to complete a background upgrade. This upgrade will not impact any current application functions.
The application includes certain projects, protocols, and related tasks from HMS-IACUC, COMS, Agreements-DUA, Data Safety, ESTR, GMAS, statements from ecrt, certifications from OAIR, and assigned courses from the Harvard Training Portal.
Grant managers also have the ability to access To Do items assigned to them, as well as To Do items and projects and protocols for the researchers they support.

Research Administration and Compliance Reporting
A new Research Administration and Compliance (RACR) landing page and three new executive dashboards will be available in HART as of Monday, December 18th.
