The next release of changes for the Electronic Submission Tracking and Reporting (ESTR) system for IRBs is available as of Friday, April 18, 2014.
The release includes new notifications and information to help with navigation. Highlights include:
- To help ensure all steps for submitting materials are completed, the system will now send a notice when an item has been created but not yet submitted after a period of days. Please see the job aid “Working with Notifications” for the specific schedule of notices.
- An “All Submissions” link is now available at the lower-left of all workspaces, for quick access to a list of all your submissions.
- PI or Faculty Sponsor submission of any continuing review or modification applications now include Investigator Assurance. This is a change to what the system displays, no changes have been made in the steps to submit a continuing review or modification.
- Minor revisions have been made to selected forms, reports, and labels to clarify requested items and determination details.
- Added and revised features to help support a more efficient IRB-side review process.
