Upcoming PeopleSoft HR Enhancements

The following changes will go into effect in PeopleSoft on Friday, February 2nd.

Absence Balance Pivot Grid for Managers:

1. The following data points have been added to the Absence Balance Pivot Grid:
   1. Balance Days:  the days are calculated based on employees’ scheduled hours
   2. Max Balance Hours
   3. Max Balance Days
   4. “Near max?” column with the following values:
      1. At Max: Balance = max
      2. Near Max: Within 10% of max balance
      3. Blank: Balance not near max
   5. Expiration Date:  For Longer Service Vacation, Personal Days, Excess Funded Vacation and Floating Holiday balances
2. Balance fields have been converted from numeric fields to character fields with signs, so they can be sorted correctly.
3. Expired absence balances are no longer displayed in the pivot grid
4. Comp Time with 0 hour balances are no longer displayed in the pivot grid
