Data Use Agreement System: Coming in December!

As part of a larger initiative to improve transparency of research compliance processes, the University is introducing a tool for submission, review, and management of Data Use Agreements (DUAs)*. Researchers that share data between organizations can use the system as one place to request a DUA review; correspond with the DUA reviewer; track the status of review; and manage active DUAs (including extension requests).

HUBS Reminder: Release 3.12 Outage

HUBS will be unavailable starting at 5pm on Friday Nov 16, all day Saturday Nov 17 and on Sunday Nov 18, for the installation of Release 3.12. HUBS will become available again at the start of business day on Monday, Nov 19.

Please note that HUBS includes Smart View, MYFP, Interim Reporting and TEFA, and these applications will be unavailable during the release installation as well.

Update Temporary Placeholder Numbers Pending Government-Issued SSNs (National ID)

Please be sure that any individuals who started work without a government-issued SSN update their records as soon as possible for tax purposes. A Harvard-issued placeholder number (sometimes called a temporary or dummy SSN) is for Harvard use only and not to be used on any external documentation and materials. Individuals without an government-issued SSN are ineligible for tax treaties and cannot apply for tax refunds.
