Term Appointments
With the leaves on the trees starting to show, it is time for schools and units to start reviewing their appointment end dates for the fiscal year-end to ensure that employees who are going to be extended are not inadvertently terminated. You can review your school’s/unit’s Term Appointments by using the University Workforce Application in QlikView.  In the report, select the Compliance category, and then select Term Appointments from the menu.

Release 3.9

HUBS Release 3.9 is coming on May 22.  HUBS* will be unavailable during the installation of the release which will begin at 10:00pm on Friday, May 19, and it will continue through to the start of business on Monday, May 22.  A couple items of note are:

1. A new patch has been installed to correct report formatting issues.  Although many issues are fixed with the patch, some reports have lost formatting in the headers and footers, but only in the HTML version. These new issues will be corrected in a future release....

What: Effective 5/1/17, the policy on celebratory events and gifts to employees and nonemployees has been updated. This session will go over the new thresholds and changes to the policy and give guidance on processing these types of payments.
